In Hongdae, a busy university and entertainment area in Seoul, we met our friend Jin and headed to a restaurant we'd always wanted to try to introduce Jessica to one of our favorite meals, grilled shellfish. We figured this would be a meal she'd like to repeat during her visit, so we decided it would be a good one to start her out on.

From there, we headed to Garten Bier to have some cold beer and wait for some other friends to show up. Garten Bier is another one of our favorite places in Korea. It's a chain bar and restaurant that is a 'must-see' for all visitors because all the tables come with electric cup holders to keep your beverages chilled. It's amazing!
