Fish Market Feast

While Andrew was working, Jessica and Judy spent the day touring the Yeouido and Yeongdeungpo areas and later met him near his school in one of the many street food tents in the neighborhood.

Either the lady was really nice or didn't think we'd understand if she said 'no' in Korean, but each time we ordered a beer, she would grab some money, abandon the tent and walk to the nearest convenience store to buy us the number of cans we asked for.  While we where there, she left us alone in her tent three times to go on beer runs on our behalf.  It was pretty awesome.

순대
Sundae

A kind of blood sausage, Sundae is pig intestines stuffed the glass noodles and spices.  It is probably one of the most common street foods in Korea.  The description sounds disgusting, but it's actually pretty good.

Thanks buddy!

After leaving the tent we went across the street to the Noryangjin Fish Market to buy some fresh seafood and take it to a restaurant in the basement to have them prepare it for us
.

Proudly carrying a bag of sea creatures, a.k.a. our dinner!

Delicious Korean dip

Jessica's signature wink;)

It's good luck to have a puddle of soy sauce under your table, right?
