Seongsan Ilchulbong

Along with the waterfalls, Seongsan Ilchulbong is another natural beauty not to be missed.  Seongsan Ilchulbong, on the Eastern side of Jeju Island, is a volcanic peak sticking out of the ocean with a crater of 600 meters in diameter at the top.  It's said to offer breathtaking views of the island, the ocean and especially the sunrise when there at the right time.

We, clearly, did not visit at one of those ideal times for a priceless view.  When we pulled into the parking lot at the base of the peak, this was all we could see:

Breathtaking
