WTF Dunkin?!

During the spring and early summer months, for various reasons, people everywhere become more aware of the foods they put into their bodies.  This year, Dunkin Donuts jumped on the health kick along with the rest of us, with the release of their new line of Vegetable Donuts...  Smart thinking, Dunkin.  Who would choose to eat real vegetables when there's a donut version available?!

And, in reality, they're actually not healthy.  All of them have equal or higher caloric values to a Glazed Original.  They're still donuts, so they contain the same amounts of sugar, only they've added some extracts into the mix.  What you get is a donut that's just as unhealthy and it's less delicious.

The informational flyer
Pick your poison:

시금치  -  Spinach
브로콜리  -  Broccoli
당근  -  Carrot
토마토 당근 글레이즈드  -  Glazed Tomato & Carrot
토마토 당근 아몬드 트위스터  -  Tomato & Carrot Almond Twister

Tomato & Carrot
The Twister and The Glazed

Those green specs are oregano...  Imagine a regular glazed donut (with a slightly off flavor) covered in oregano.  Sweet and herby, mmmm.

Somehow, the Tomato and Carrot Almond Twister was actually worse than the Glazed Tomato & Carrot.

Not Pictured:  The Spinach, The Broccoli & The Carrot.  Of all the Vegetable Donuts, The Spinach was probably the best.  It's 'vegetable' flavor was most suited to accompany the sugar and the sweet glaze.  The tomato & carrot options lasted quit a while on the Dunkin Donuts' roster, but, needless to say, thank God it's Winter again and Vegetable Donuts have been retired!
