Chinatown

Despite it's proximity to China and the amount of Chinese residents living in the country, South Korea has only one Chinatown.  We'd heard that it was one of the largest Chinatowns outside of the United States, so we were pretty stoked.  With memories of the delicious eats we'd had in China and Hong Kong and visions of the feast that was hopefully awaiting us in Incheon, we headed out for a day of exploring.

Incheon Station
(This was 40+ stations away from our stop, no joke.)

The actual gate to Chinatown was dilapidated and grey, but it looks really nice in this banner!

True to the term 'Chinatown' there was tons of junk for sale...

Peace!

Smart purchase, girl!
(Same could be said about those jeans.)

These were sold all over the street, so we had to try them.  They were thin pastries with various fillings.  We tried pumpkin, assorted nuts and one other one that was not memorable enough to recall.  They all kind of tasted the same:  dense and semi-sweet.  Not good.

Don't you mean fortune cookie?!

Dear China,
This big, round, hard and hollow thing is not a cookie.

I BJ!
It's true.  Pandas love blow jobs.

Our lunch choice

Judy's face says it all, "meh."  We let our stomachs and our travel memories psyche us up for an authentic Chinese meal, that Incheon's Chinatown could not deliver.   Once again, Korea showed us who's boss.  All the restaurants were just like every Chinese restaurant in Korea, Korean.  ☹
