While walking to dinner one of our nights in Malacca, we came across a new restaurant that was coming in. There was no sign yet, and there were still piles of construction materials on the ground, but by the decorations already up and the stacks of tables and toilets waiting to be moved in, the restaurant's theme was clear: BATHROOM! Naturally, our first reaction was sheer disbelief, followed quickly by intrigue and curiosity.
We couldn't find an opening date on the door or the windows, but we all prayed it would be open by the time we returned from Singapore the following weekend. And clearly, someone up there was watching out for us, because our prayers were answered!

Unlike D&T, we're respectable people, so we ate while actually siting in chairs and not on toilets...

The toilet concept didn't stop at the decor either. Even the dishes were potty themed. This is a 'flaming pot' of Tom Yum. Sure, it wasn't the best Tom Yum, but it was certainly the best any of us have eaten out of a toilet bowl, or while seated on a toilet!

From there, the girls went to the to mall to get foot massages, and Dave & Andrew headed out in search of Adventure (beer). Their search led them across the street from the mall, where they discovered the Daily Beer Promotion of a lifetime: Buy One Free Two! Yep, between the hours of 12 and 7pm, buy one beer and receive 2 complementary beers! Freakin' sweet!
