One of the last weekends before our friend Korey left Korea for good, we headed over to Ulsan for a final weekend of fun. Friday night we did the usual, dinner and drinks in Samsan-dong, but Saturday we boarded a train in the early afternoon bound for Busan. Our first stop was Costco to pick up a pizza, then to Sajik Stadium for an enjoyable afternoon of America's pastime!
On the slow train to Busan
Damn! Check out that blingin' timepiece!
He had no issue dropping the won for that diamond encrusted monstrosity on his wrist, but couldn't pay the extra 2,000 won for a non-standing ticket? Something's not adding up here!
In Costco
Alright, Honey, you go and finish up the shopping, I'm going to sample this couch. Wake me up when you're ready to leave.

Sajik Stadium, home of the Lotte Giants!
So miserably hot
90 degree direct sun + 100% humidity + a huge, hot pizza on your lap = a day at the ballpark in Korea
It was actually too bright to see the sweat running down our faces

As soon as the sun went below the mountain, the temperature dropped enough to allow the pizza feed to begin.
It was so much more comfortable!
Best seat in the house
Towards the end of the game, the stadium employees walked through the main isles passing out stacks of garbage bags. Originally this was so that the fans could collect their garbage and leave the stadium fairly clean. The good people of Busan, however, found another use for the garbage bags: headgear.
