We ended up hitting some unexpected traffic on our way into Ulsan on Friday evening, so we were a little rushed upon arrival. We went straight to the motel to check in and then jumped into a taxi to meet our friends for dinner at Daldong Jukumi, the downtown Ulsan branch of one of our favorite restaurants.

Mmmm, making fried rice!
After our delicious Jukumi dinner, we met up with our friends Sam & Eunjeong and, on Sungki's suggestion, headed to a shellfish restaurant for (a lot of) soup and soju.

From there, we parted ways with Sungki and Suyeon, and then wandered around downtown looking for our next haunt. After a few blocks, we settled on one of the many Japanese Izakayas in Ulsan's downtown area.

Too much soju
Clearly, too much soju!
No one's sure what spurned this (besides the soju), but it's beautiful!
